Congratulations to Ragui Sadek, MD, FACS for recently achieving an SRC accreditation as Master Surgeon in Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery. After graduating from the University of Alexandria Faculty of Medicine in Alexandria, Egypt, Dr. Sadek completed his residency and a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery at Staten Island University Hospital. He implemented the bariatric surgery program at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he is the Director of Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Sadek also practices at Advanced Surgical and Bariatrics of NJ, PA.
Dr. Sadek is dedicated to providing patients with safe, quality care that improves their lives. “The one thing about bariatric surgery that’s different from any other procedure is that you see patients’ transformations. Life for them completely changes – psychologically, medically and socially. Patients are happier. They’re smiling, buying new clothes and going out. They are having a social life,” he says.
