Neil E. Hutcher, MD, FACS
Chief Medical Officer and Vice President, Clinical Quality and Compliance

Neil Hutcher is an accomplished surgeon and a widely recognized leader in the advancement of surgical specialties, especially as it relates to patient education and advocacy on the federal and state levels. He began practicing medicine in 1973, and prior to joining SRC in 2010, held the position of Managing Director at Commonwealth Surgeons. Dr. Hutcher has served as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at St. Mary’s Hospital and Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at both the Medical College of Virginia and McGuire Veterans Administration Medical Center. He is also a past president of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Hutcher received his undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond and his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, where he also completed a residency in general surgery and specialty fellowship training in transplant surgery.

Amy Triplet, RN, MNSc
Director, Clinical Quality and Compliance

Amy Triplet‘s nursing career exceeds 25 years. Her vast experience includes working in post-anesthesia care units, cardiovascular intensive care units (CVICU), medical/surgical and outpatient surgery. With leadership roles as the Director of Education, CVICU and Outpatient Surgery, along with Chief of Nursing Officer, Ms. Triplet has extensive knowledge in regulatory compliance, quality initiatives and staff education. Ms. Triplet has also assisted with the planning and implementation of an open-heart surgery program and implemented a telemedicine program.

Ms. Triplet understands the importance of achieving excellence in perioperative care, because it has such a positive impact on patient outcomes and the growth of surgery programs. This awareness is not only a strength in her role as Director of Clinical Quality and Compliance, but coupled with her leadership experience, she is a valuable resource to all SRC designees. Ms. Triplet tracks and analyzes data from SRC’s patient outcomes databases to support accreditation program development, establish best practices and provide performance feedback to all SRC participants. 

Ms. Triplet obtained her Bachelor of Science in biology from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Cindy Vanderhoff, RN, MSN
Senior Manager, Clinical Quality and Compliance

Cindy Vanderhoff is an accomplished nurse manager. With more than 40 years of nursing experience, Ms. Vanderhoff has worked in emergency medicine, perioperative and operating room nursing and has served in various leadership roles in community hospitals and Level I, II, and III trauma centers. She has also helped facilitate the building and opening of three ambulatory surgery centers as the Clinical Operations Director and Executive Director. Most recently, Ms. Vanderhoff served as the Nurse Manager for Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center’s main operating room. She wholly understands the daily challenges health care providers experience regarding patient safety, surgical excellence and quality care.

Ms. Vanderhoff obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Metropolitan State College of Denver, Colorado and her Master of Science in Nursing at The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

As a member of the Clinical Quality and Compliance team, Ms. Vanderhoff serves as an inspector/facility assessor and provides consulting, education and quality improvement for SRC’s participants.

Sue Hansen, RN, BSN, MSN
Senior Inspector, Clinical Quality and Compliance

With a career rooted in nursing and healthcare administration, Sue Hansen has developed a strong foundation in surgical services, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), and outpatient care.   Ms. Hansen has held numerous leadership roles, including Regional Director and Surgical Services Manager of a large regional hospital system, where she played a key role in the planning, construction, and successful launch of multiple ASCs. Her expertise includes operational excellence, regulatory compliance, strategic planning, and team development. Throughout her career, Ms. Hansen has consistently driven high standards in clinical quality, patient satisfaction, and perioperative best practices, while mentoring new managers and supporting top-tier care delivery. Her experience spans surgical services, critical care, outpatient surgery, and healthcare quality. She remains committed to advancing patient-centered care and fostering high-performing medical teams.   As part of SRC’s Clinical Quality and Compliance team, Ms. Hansen is one of SRC’s primary inspectors conducting facility assessment visits throughout the year. She provides evaluations, consultations, education, and improvement strategies for SRC’s participants.   Ms. Hansen earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and holds multiple professional certifications.

Lauren Sweet, RN, BSN, CNOR
Inspector

With over 30 years of nursing experience, Lauren Sweet has worked in critical care, cardiology and quality with an emphasis in operating room nursing. Ms. Sweet has directed operating room teams in various specialties that include robotics, general surgery and gynecology. While working at her last hospital, Ms. Sweet led the organization to help achieve four SRC accreditations, and now she guides other potential designees in achieving their own. Ms. Sweet joined SRC in 2019. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Andrews University.

Elena Goldyn, RN, BSN
Manager, Quality Improvement

Elena Goldyn has a seven-year tenure of healthcare leadership experience, primarily overseeing surgical suite of 16 operating rooms in Charlotte, North Carolina. In her career, she developed a successful robotics program, supporting surgeons across diverse specialties including thoracic, gynecology, urology, colorectal, bariatric and others. As an Assistant Nurse Manager, Ms. Goldyn streamlined operations for multiple service lines, with a focus on continuous quality improvement and staff education.

Ms. Goldyn plays a crucial role in assisting our accredited facilities and surgeons with data analysis to enhance patient outcomes and advance surgical program efficiency. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in communications from Seattle Pacific University in Seattle, Washington, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Rochelle Beard, MSN, RN, CIC, CPHQ
Specialist, Quality Improvement

Rochelle Beard is a registered nurse with experience in infection prevention, healthcare quality, leadership, and education. Her background includes work across pediatrics, acute care, long-term care, employee health, academia, and quality improvement, providing a broad perspective on patient safety and performance improvement.

Ms. Beard earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, and completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a public health emphasis. She is board-certified in infection prevention (CIC) and certified in healthcare quality (CPHQ). Prior to joining SRC, Ms. Beard served as a statewide resource supporting healthcare organizations through education, tool and resource development, collaborative initiatives, and guidance on demonstrating program value and accountability. In her role at SRC, she applies a collaborative, data-driven approach to support quality improvement efforts and advance safe, high-quality surgical care.

Vickie Poor
Coordinator, Quality Improvement

Vickie Poor offers a wealth of experience, with more than three decades in office management and customer support, serving as an executive assistant to CEOs, CMOs, and CFOs. Before joining SRC, she worked in the health care and medical device industries – a cardiovascular company enhancing medical devices with a drug-delivery system and a specialty oncology pharmaceutical company. Before her career as a C-suite support professional, Ms. Poor earned her certification as an electroencephalogy technician.

Since 2014, Ms. Poor has served in various roles within SRC. Her experience and expertise led her to the Quality Improvement team where her activities include quality analytics reporting to designees, assisting participants with SRC’s propriety Quality Improvement database and training users on its features and capabilities. 

Sarah White
Manager, Program Support

Sarah White brings more than 10 years of administrative and customer support experience to SRC. Prior to joining the company, she managed office operations, patient services and scheduling efforts in a large, multi-physician practice. At SRC, she regulates all program and inspection documentation, guides hospitals and surgeons through the accreditation process, and supports the Clinical Quality & Compliance team. Ms. White earned a bachelors’ degree in communications from Edinboro University in Edinboro, Pennsylvania.

RuthAnn Reed
Senior Coordinator, Program Support

Prior to joining SRC, RuthAnn Reed worked in billing and patient services at a private medical practice. She brings with her nine years of medical, administrative and customer support experience. At SRC, Ms. Reed guides hospitals and surgeons through the inspection process as well as supports SRC inspectors with administrative operations.
