SRC is honored to recognize Bernard Benedetto, MD, FACS as a Master Surgeon in Robotic Surgery. Dr. Benedetto is board certified in general and bariatric surgery. He completed two fellowships: one in Trauma Surgery/Critical Care at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a second in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at Albany Med. Using the da Vinci robot technology, Dr. Benedetto performs minimally invasive surgeries resulting in fewer complications and faster patient recovery times. He practices at Atlantic Surgical Associates and is also an accredited Surgeon of Excellence in Robotic Surgery with Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
