Congratulations to Dr. Gabriela Rodriguez Ruiz of Obesity Control Center in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, for attaining accreditation as a Master Surgeon in Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Rodriguez earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the UTHealth Science Center at Houston and her medical degree from the School of Medicine at Autonomous University in Baja California. She is a founding associate of the Mexican College of General Surgeons.
