Larissa Jacobsen
Manager, Marketing
& Communications

An East Coast transplant hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Larissa Jacobsen has sixteen years experience in marketing and program management. She has worked in a variety of industries including healthcare, nonprofits and corporations, and brings a vast knowledge of integrated marketing strategies, branding, multi-channel marketing, copywriting and graphic design. Ms. Jacobsen earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management from Shippensburg University, in Pennsylvania.

The consumer experience is one of Ms. Jacobsen’s favorite aspects of marketing. Her enthusiasm and expertise in this area drive her work on SRC’s corporate marketing team, where she focuses on strengthening the company’s brand presence and refining its communication strategies. Her prior experience supporting SRC designees with their marketing initiatives gives her a unique perspective on effectively connecting with diverse audiences.

Nat Josef
Manager, Designee Marketing

With over a decade of experience in marketing, content creation, and graphic design, Nat Josef has honed her skills in the San Francisco Bay Area tech scene, predominantly in the SaaS, ecommerce, education, and automotive industries. She has worked for small businesses, nonprofits, and startups and also co-founded a successful photography business in the region. In these roles, she led marketing and content teams, with a focus on thought leadership and omnichannel marketing.

Her specialties include storytelling, branding, messaging, digital asset creation, and copy editing. She joined SRC to follow her passion for building relationships and her desire to have a positive impact on people’s lives.

Ms. Josef holds a Bachelor of Arts from James Madison University and a Master of Arts from the University of Arizona.

Katrina Jones
Coordinator, Accreditation Fulfillment

Managing SRC’s Fulfillment Center is tedious and demanding. More than ten years of graphic design and customer service experience qualifies Katrina Jones for the job. Ms. Jones is responsible for creating, ensuring the accuracy of, and managing the timely delivery of awards and merchandise to recipients in nearly 30 countries participating in more than 100 SRC accreditation programs. She ensures proper inventory management, as well as close coordination with print and logistics vendors. Ms. Jones is also responsible for announcing new designees on SRC’s various media platforms. She earned her bachelor’s degree in art from Florida State.

Katie Rivich
Coordinator, Design & Marketing

Based in Chicago, Katie Rivich draws on more than ten years of experience across a range of industries—from small startups to established international corporations. Her background includes print production, multi-channel marketing strategies, and brand development. A passionate designer, Ms. Rivich strives to make a positive impact through thoughtful and effective design. She enjoys finding creative ways to communicate and connect with diverse audiences. Ms. Rivich holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

As a key member of SRC’s Marketing and Communications team, Ms. Rivich plays a vital role in developing a wide range of creative assets that build brand awareness, strengthen social media presence, support marketing strategies, and contribute to internal communications.

Cesar Valtierra
Coordinator, Designee Marketing

Cesar Valtierra is a skilled graphic designer with a wealth of experience across advertising agencies, freelance clients, and healthcare marketing. His work includes a wide range of creative projects, from corporate logos to intricate illustrative posters, showcasing his versatility and commitment to design excellence.

As the Designee Marketing Coordinator for SRC, Mr. Valtierra applies his design expertise to developing marketing materials for accredited providers, enjoying the diversity of projects it offers. Whether a project calls for creative freedom or adherence to strict brand guidelines, his passion for design ensures both style and professionalism in every piece he creates.

Mr. Valtierra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design from the University of Texas at El Paso.
