Born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Dr. Jorge De Amorim Filho would shadow his father, a vascular surgeon, at the hospital and saw early in life that he wanted to grow up to be a surgeon. He is now a board-certified general and trauma surgeon and recently achieved an SRC accreditation as a Master Surgeon in Hernia Surgery for his dedication to superior care and patient safety. Dr. Amorim is committed to integrating the latest techniques and technologies in his treatment plans for hernia repairs.
Dr. Amorim is also a Surgeon of Excellence in Hernia Surgery with Portneuf Medical Center.
