SRC is often asked, “How much time will it take to enter patients into SRC’s Database?”

While data entry times vary based on patient complexity and user proficiency, SRC’s Outcomes Databases are designed with a data entry goal of two minutes or less for each patient encounter. This includes patient registration, preoperative, operative and postoperative encounters. The use of encounter forms expedites the data entry process. SRC also offers a bulk patient data transfer option as well.
Data entry is required for prospective patients (although retrospective patients may be added optionally) and only for those who undergo surgery.
