The Obesity & Metabolic Surgery Society of India (OSSI) (http://www NULL.obesity-india NULL.com/) launched its center of excellence program in 2011. The program is available to surgeons and hospitals that perform bariatric and metabolic surgery in India and extends the society’s commitment to deliver optional patient care and advance the surgical specialty through research, provider education and increased public awareness. OSSI designees are also awarded the ICE designation and included within the ICE locator page.
