Plans as its newest Premier Supporting Organization. Surgical Review Corporation seeks to partner with AHIP’s member health
insurance plans so they may offer members innovative new tools to make value-driven choices regarding bariatric surgeries.

Surgical Review Corporation is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the delivery of
bariatric surgical care with the highest levels of efficacy, efficiency, and safety. SRC designates Centers of Excellence
in Bariatric Surgery (BSCOE) for the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and for SRC’s newly developed
International BSCOE program. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), as well as other payors and networks across the
United States base their COE program on the ASMBS BSCOEs. SRC’s goal is to build global consensus among all industry stakeholders
on the medical necessity and appropriateness of bariatric surgery through effective research based on outcomes data.
